Steven and I actually first met when we were in high school.  My father was also Steven's sister's favorite teacher in high school.  We both graduated high school and went off to separate colleges. After we both graduated from college and moved back to the Kansas City area we were both still searching for that special someone.  Steven joined eHarmony.  He had been a member for over a year and hadn't had much luck.  He got on one day to close his account and decided to take one more look at his matches to give eHarmony one last chance.  This is when he saw my profile and started communication. I had only been on eHarmony a week and a half when I was matched up with Steven. 

We went through the entire guided communication stage in one day.  During this time we realized we knew each other.  We met a few days later for coffee and had a wonderful time.  The next day we went out with a couple that is good friends with Steven.  After that double date we decided we wanted to date exclusively.  eHarmony brought us back together after we had been apart.  We were right in front of each other in high school but it wasn't time yet.  We were matched up by eHarmony in a way that we would have never imagined.  I like to say we were living parallel lives and it took one click to bring us together.
