By now, the world has caught on to the success that is found in eHarmony. So I guess one might question, "What makes your story so unique?"  To that, I would have to answer " My story--our story--is multigenerational as both my mom and I both found our sweethearts through eHarmony and married (or will be come) within a year of one another!"

My mom, Donna, started eHarmony several years ago. I don't remember much of the beginning for her because I was away at college, but the moment I met John, I immediately knew that he was the one for my mom. His laughter, sincerity, and willingness to be vulnerable brought a happiness into her life that I had never seen before. He proposed August of 2004 and they began a two year engagement. Fast forward to June 2006. I had gotten over a rough relationship and was interested in dating again, but didn't know where to begin. I scoffed at first, but after several nudges decided to take the plunge into internet dating. Was I in for a complete surprise!!

By the end of our first week, I knew I had met the man I would marry. I even told my roommates, who just told me not to be so dramatic!! But come March 5th, 2007 on the private island of Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, Dan asked me to be his life partner. I cried YES! Our wedding is November 3rd, 2007--just 13 months after my mom and John married.
